What’s the problem?
Bed bugs do not transmit any diseases but they do create anxiety and stress for those who have them. They tend to spread quickly and a single female can hitch a ride home and start a booming population before you even realize it. Due to their natural tendency to spread out and hide the process to control can be very invasive.
What’s the solution?
When traveling make sure you inspect your hotel rooms prior to staying. If there is an infestation you will often find evidence along the seams of mattresses and box springs. If you suspect you were exposed do not bring luggage and clothing into your home. Have it laundered before bringing back and use high heat.

Bed bug control is a coordinated effort between you and your pest control professional. Thorough preparation is required which will involve, cleaning, moving furniture and making sure there is access to all possible harborage areas. We will inspect to identify where the bed bugs are currently hiding and directly treat those spots, we will also apply residual materials to protect against any newly hatched bugs.

Just wanted to share my experience with Green Pest Defense in general. I first called them in the winter for mouse control. The technician Bernise was awesome. Very knowledgeable, informative and professional. Never saw further activity after she came out. Today a technician name Stephanie came out for ants. The experience was just as good. She was again knowledgeable, informative and professional!! When I call on the phone they are great as well and always prompt with getting a technician to my home. I am thoroughly satisfied and impressedwith Green Pest Defense and wish I had call them years ago!!

Matt is great! He came out last week for a home defense treatment and just came back to spray the yard for ticks and mosquitoes. Super polite, always takes time to explain things, and just a genuinely nice guy. He’s great with my dog Wheelie too—always brings her a treat, which she loves. We have issues with ticks and black flies while living in the woods and have a running creek. Kyle Karkos from Green pest defense did treatments on our property and we have not found a single tick on ourselves or our dog. Black flies have disappeared, we are finally able to be outside without those nasty nagging pests. 10/10 recommend.
